This is a time to celebrate the rebirth of the world and its vegetation. This is the full return of life and fertility to the world after the dark times of Winter. This is a time of revelry in the fullness and richness of the fertile world, and a time to acknowledge the again coming time of darkness as the days will inevitably grow shorter as Summer wanes and Winter grows. At this time of the year, the first stirrings of the coming Winter are seen and the harvest times begin as Summer draws to an end. This is a time to rest after the harvests and preparations for the Winter to come. The forces of darkness overtake the world, and the veils between the worlds grow thin. This is a time for journeys into the self as the world outside grows cold and dark.
