Use of Loose IncenseNo substances (like charcoal or saltpeter) have been added to our raw incense to aid in combustion of the incense. Also, there are no gums in the incense to bind it into a specific shape, such as a cone or a block, nor have we added a filler for bulk.
You can also simmer our raw incenses in potpourri burners. We use quite a lot of the ingredients in whole, raw form. It is common to find whole flowers, leaves, and bits of wood in the incense, just as you would in potpourri. This is a great way to use the incense if you like the way it smells raw. However, it may not release some of the scents which are produced when the incense is burned. Last but not least, if you like the way an incense smells as is, you can tie it up in a piece of cloth, put it in a bowl or small basket for a sachet or air freshener. Incense used in this fashion will eventually pick up odors from the air around it, and loose some of its intensity, but you can always burn it when the scent is no longer vivid. If you have any questions or comments about our company, please feel free to drop us a note. We look forward to hearing from you! |
