Use of Bath Salts

Using Bath Salts Before tossing a whole handful of bath salts into a bath, carefully smell the salts. You will want to temper the amount you put into the bath by how strong the scent is, and how strongly you wish the bath to be scented.

Also, we add color to the bath salts, so don't be surprised if the bath water turns color. All of the colors used are water soluble. We use a small enough amount of color that it should not stay on the skin, but if you are worried, just rinse after the bath. We do recommend that you quickly wipe down the tub surface as the bath water drains to prevent rainbow rings!

Finally, if you are fond of a particular scent, you can leave a handful of the salts out in a bowl to scent and freshen the air in the bathroom.

It is best to use the salts in warmer to relaxing hot water to help the oils diffuse throughout the water. If your tub drain has a grate which does not close when you stop the tub, you may experience bath salt loss through the grate! You can use a rubber stopper, or just a wash cloth to cover the drain to prevent this from happening. Lastly, before you step into the tub, stir the water gently.

If you have any questions or comments about our company, please feel free to drop us a note. We look forward to hearing from you!
